YOU DON'T BELONG TO ME

The colors of your aura
have shown me that you do not have
what I am looking for or need
so therefore you do not belong to me.
What is for me, I will know
when it arrives inside my universe
from behind the shadows of doubt
parading its illuminating insignia
that will commands me to quiet my fears,
stop weaving long enough to watch
how her appearance will improve
the merging explosion of devotion
between sensuality and soul
that will unchain me from reframing
tasting its sweet and sour flavors
of mysticism/uniqueness/faithfulness.
Inspiring me to humbly wear my gratitude
as a robe to testify to the heavens that I am thankful
there was an open door
where heaven's light within light could come
dancing through carrying true dreams
like the sun coming up at the crack of dawn
waving its rays across the sky to announce
its divine presence as proof of its existence.
I take great pleasure in reading spirits,
and heeding to the voice within, obeying that truth
so that is to say, that I will not entertain
your offering to cling to my thoughts
like stitches embroidered across the heart
to entice me to take you back to my village
out of the storms and squalls of fruitless journeys
to play with your voluptuous curves in the dark
where we will merge/embrace/fit tightly
until morning smiles appear inside your eyes
like a coy moment captured by an eternal camera
to witness me emerging naked, saluting your warm touch
knowing there are no dreams or hopes in this moment.
